Listen to LibriVox gives quick access to 10,000 free audio books and 17,000 individual titles, read by LibriVox volunteers.

Complete books or individual titles are downloaded to the Library, with a choice between smaller file size and higher audio quality. To avoid huge phone bills, mobile data is only used with your permission.

Playback of audio books is controlled by the app, or from the lock screen of your phone or the control centre. So while you are listening to audio books, you can use other applications or turn your iPhone or iPad off. Playback is automatically paused when you receive a phone call and resumed when the phone call is finished. You can play audio books on your TV with Apple TV or through your AirPlay compatible speakers.

Books are displayed by author, sorted by name, date of birth, or number of available books by the author. Books can also be displayed individually, sorted by title, author, copyright year, LibriVox release date, or popularity (number of downloads). Books can be filtered by genre and by language.

Enter the name of an author or the title of a book or any part of it into the search box, and all matching books and individual titles are found immediately.

Listen to LibriVox works with all iPhones and iPads starting with iPhone 4 and iPad 2, but also takes advantage of the bigger screens on iPhone 5, 6 and 6+, 7 and 7+. Works in portrait and landscape mode, and in split screen mode on newer iPads.
